Broken through into Nothingness
The scars burnt into my heart
Slowly peel away
Revealing once more my power
As a free woman
Creative pleasure
Beyond measure
That’s how we do things
In my world
Courage and clarity
Is what my heart demands
Of true connection
Silence is not golden
When it is rooted in fear
My heart will sing again
XVII. Forgiveness
And I forgive myself
From the heart
For replaying this trauma
That I had learned to be Love
In such divine encounters
A great disrespect
Guilt masked by defence
Couldn’t face this to be
My fault again

The lioness roars
And I don’t look back
Each moment is for You
My blessed journey
Which is coming to an end
And a new beginning
The stars do not speak tonight
They could not do justice
The spark that wants to take flight
XIX. Back again
A beautiful mess
My tears on your chest
Just breathe, you said
But I breathed and you left
Or was it me?
Did I leave
Cos it’s too hard to be
So close to you
